AEIS Preparatory Course for Admission to Singapore Government Schools

This course is specially designed for foreign students seeking to enter mainstream government schools in Singapore. Our course curriculum has a strong emphasis on English and Mathematics to bridge the gap between the foreign and local education systems. Students undergo daily intensive lessons where they will be trained in subjects required for the entrance tests.

AEIS & S-AEIS Admissions Tests

The two tests that are conducted at different times of the year for entry into government schools

AEIS

Admissions Exercise for International Students

The AEIS exam is a centralised exam conducted by the Ministry of Education (MOE) in Sep/Oct for students who wish to join mainstream schools in January of the following year. The test covers English and Mathematics and is open for students age between 7 to 16 years old. For Primary 2 to 5 applicants, students are required to take the Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQ) test and achieve the necessary Cambridge English Scale (CES) score before they can apply to take the AEIS Primary Mathematics test appropriate for their age.

S-AEIS

Supplementary Admissions Exercise for International Students

The S-AEIS exam is for international students who cannot attend AEIS exam or were unsuccessful in previous attempts. It is held in Feb/Mar of the following year. Successful S-AEIS applicants can join mainstream schools from June. Please note that admission to Primary 5 and Secondary 3 is not available under S-AEIS.
